Bio
Jocelyn Rodriguez was named the head volleyball coach in the summer of 2022. Coach Rodriguez is a native to the Imperial Valley, where she graduated from Southwest high school in 2013. After High school Coach Rodriguez attended Arizona Western College where she helped the Matadors captured the ACCAC Conference Championship during her freshman season. Coach Rodriguez earned a scholarship to Division I, Cal State University Bakersfield where she competed on both the indoor and beach volleyball team and graduated in 2017. In 2012, 2013, and 2014 Coach Rodriguez helped capture the Mexican national championship while comepeting with her state team.
After graudating CSU Bakersfield, coach Rodriguez continued her Volleyball career on the Mexian National Team competing in the 2019 Pan American Cup in Chiclayo, Peru. The Volleyball Nations Championship League (VNL) in Quebec, Canada and the NORCECA Volleyball Championships in Kaliningrad, Russia in 2019.
An accomplished coach in her own right, Coach Rodriguez started her coaching career at her Alma Mater, Arizona Western College immeditaely after graduating CSUB. Coach Rodriguez has worked at the high school level at Gila Ridge High School in Yuma and at the travel level for EVJ Club Team in Tempe. Coach Rodriguez spent the last three seasons at NAIA Benedictine University, Mesa where she was working with the Redhawk's Beach Volleyball Team.
