The 2025 Imperial Valley Men's Soccer is off to a strong start after defeating Citrus College with a final score of 1-0.

Our Desert Warriors dominated the entire game especially on the defensive end holding Citrus to only to one shot on goal. IVC was on the attack the entire game pressuring the Owl's defense and recording 10 shots on the goal.

In minute '31 IVC was able to break the 0-0 tie with a goal from sophomore Gilbert Valenzuela as he was able to sneak by the defense following a free kick by Diego Padilla.

IVC will be back on the road on Friday, August 29th for a scheduled match vs LA Harbor at 3:00pm.
