A couple of Freshmen players were selected to the All-PCAC team. Leonardo Veliz and Kenneth Urquidez were recognized for their performance on the field during the 2025 season.
Freshman outfielder Kenneth Urquidez had a strong season from start to finish on both sides of the ball year. Kenny started all 37 games in Centerfield for the Desert Warriors and led the team in fielding percentage. On the offensive side of the ball, Urquidez hit .375, scored 26 runs, collected 51 total hits, 11 doubles, 2 triples, drove in 25 runs, and had a .444 OBP%.
Fellow freshman, Leonardo Veliz also had a very strong season leading IVC in multiple offensive categories. Veliz played multiple defensive positions for the Desert Warriors including 2B, 3B, and OF. At the plate, Veliz hit .440 which was 5th best in the state of CA, scored 47 runs, collected 68 hits, 13 doubles, 6 triples, 3 homeruns, stole 22 bases and recorded a .491 OBP.
