Women's Basketball opened up conference play with a dominating 69-51 win over San Diego City College.

Leading the way for the Desert Warriors was sophomore forward Amy Riley racking up 23 points and 19 rebounds. The sophomore out of Imperial High School has been averaging nearly a double-double per game.

Sophomore Marcela Lyerly also contributed with a double-double of her own with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

As a team, IVC out-rebounded San Diego City College 62-43 creating plenty of second-chance opportunities.

Our lady Desert Warriors will be looking to improve their record this Friday as they are scheduled to host Cuyamaca College at 7:00pm.
