Women's Volleyball improved to 2-5 on the season with a dominating win over Copper Mountain in a non-conference match on Tuesday September 17th.
Our Desert Warriors were able to win in 3 straight sets with the final scores of 25-5, 25-10, 25-6. Copper Mountain has gotten off to a slow start this season and were unable to get anything going against IVC and ultimately their record dropped to 0-6.
Bella Castro dominated the match leading the team with 10 kills. Alondra Simentel chipped in with 6 aces of her own and Aneth Ponce led both team with 15 assists.
The Desert Warriors will resume conference play on Wednesday September 18th, as they travel to take on San Diego City College. Friday September 20th, Women's Volleyball will be back in action as they are scheduled to host San Diego Miramar College at 5:00pm.
