Luis Carrillo Earns Male Athlete of The Month for September

IMPERIAL, CA (10/16/2022)-- Luis Carrillo has earned IVC's male athlete of the month for Septmber 2022. 

Luis Ivan Carrillo is a 5'7 freshman on the IVC Men's Soccer team. Luis grew up in El Centro and is a graduate of Southwest high school. Carrillo was key in IVC Men's Soccer winning their first game of the year scoring two goals in IVC's 4-1 win over San Diego Mesa College on 9/30. Luis also scored a goal on 9/13 during a road loss to Citrus College. Carrillo again found the back of the net on October 4th during a game at Cuyamaca College. Men's Soccer currently sits at 1-11 on the season. The men's Soccer team still has six home matches throughout late October and early November.
