Sabrina Benavides finished 1st overall at the Palomar invitational

Sabrina Benavides finished 1st overall at the Palomar invitational on Friday, leading the Arabs to 6th place finish. She ran 19:32 on the hilly Guajome Park 5K course, beating some of the top community college runners in the state. Next week she will be tested against the very best at the Southern California Regional Preview at Don Knabe Regional Park in Cerritos.
